Visibility is very poor when crossing this main road on horseback. Trees and hedges need cutting back/removing. Additional measures are needed to slow the traffic down adequately to allow safe crossing here.

There is no pavement on this road heading towards the industrial estate meaning most people use their cars. It would be much safer for cyclists too as drivers tend to increase their speed on this road.

Would be great to safely cycle up and down the B6019, link up Alfreton train station and South Normanton by safe cycle routing.

There should be a ramped connection to the Greenway here, or near here. Although a difficult engineering challenge it isn’t impossible

No cycle paths in the area. Very busy road.

There is a restrictive A Frame barrier at this entrance that causes many issues for people with restricted mobility or those using adapted bikes, as well as for anyone with a double pram. It should be removed

This area needs a safe crossing point.

Crossing here should be upgrade to Toucan and delay time reduced considerably in favour of users

Path through the entire length of Slayley Green should be upgraded to allow shared use by walkers and cyclists

This connection from West Lea to the greenway should be upgraded

This location has a dropped kerb but no direct path/cycleway to connect through to Ringer Lane

A connection between Sheffield Road and the new Clowne Branch Line Greenway could be constructed here without significant loss of green space

A direct connection from teh new Clowne Branch Line Greenway to Creswell Rail station via Gypsy Lane is needed here

This existing path should be acquired, adopted as an ROW and developed as a walking/Cycling Link from the NE of Clowne to the new Branch Line Greenway

Northbound view of bridge over Stockley Brook. Note the bridge structure is raised from the trail and is vertical - ok for MTB but not narrower section tyres.
